Claire E. Doi - Bio

Prior to starting her career in real estate, Claire established a career in residential and commercial lending. With a start as loan officer from 1991 to 2004, Claire's experience in the banking, real estate and construction industry, lead her back to reconnect her experience, clients and professional relationships as a Realtor-Associate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai'i Realty and recently moving to Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties – Commercial Division.

Claire strives to learn commercial real estate daily and is currently working on obtaining the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation as her specialty is commercial real estate sales, investments, Asian interior design construction and lending. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences Management at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Accounting Mgt. at the Hawaii Pacific University and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Phoenix .

She also worked in international sales for the health, supplement and airline rewards marketing industries. It is from this multi-career experience that she gained a strong understanding of the local and international economies and languages (Japanese, some Cantonese and a bit of Spanish) plus their business protocols that she applies to her commercial and residential real estate market knowledge.

Claire understands the many decisions one is faced with in the real estate transaction process and she prides herself on placing her client's needs above all else.

Having grown up on Kauai and Honolulu - has deeply connected Claire to the community and her service to Non-Profits and community boards -striving to make our islands a better place. Among these affiliations are The Hawaii Food Bank, past Board Member of the Hawaii Economic Association, Lemonade Alley-Hawaii and a member/donor to the Hawaii Tea Society, YMCA -Kauai and the Kauai Humane Society. She is also a current active Board Member of the Aloha Chapter of AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America)

When Claire has some spare time, she enjoys teaching and studying tea with her Tea Master/Sommelier Classes and actually changed a past hobby into a discipline and passion as Certified Tea Master/Sommelier with the International Tea Masters Association. Claire also enjoys Pilates, Pure Barre Fitness and a Core Power training program with RIZAP (A Special Personal Fitness Program from Japan). She occasionally travels to the outer islands to work and visit family. Claire is a gourmet cook with several recipe and cooking contest winnings and awards throughout the years - cooking for a charitable cause.
